02Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and can’t be switched off. They don’t need consent, and they aren’t used for tracking. On the live site the sign-in cookie names carry a __Secure- or __Host- prefix.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
djcy_consent | This site | Remembers your cookie choice and the policy version you agreed to. | 6 months |
authjs.session-token | This site | Keeps members signed in. Only set when you sign in. | 1 day, or 30 days with “Remember me” |
authjs.csrf-token | This site | Protects the sign-in form against cross-site request forgery. | Until you close your browser |
authjs.callback-url | This site | Sends you back to the page you were on after signing in. | Until you close your browser |
03Preferences on your device
When you choose a theme or accent colour, or add something to your store basket, it’s saved in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there next time. It never leaves your device and is only saved when you do one of those things.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | This site | Remembers if you picked light or dark mode instead of following your system. | Until you clear it |
accent | This site | Remembers the accent colour you picked. | Until you clear it |
basket | This site | Keeps the merch you added to your basket. Removed when you empty it. | Until you empty it or clear it |
04Analytics (optional)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and mixes people come back to and how they found the site. The Google Analytics script isn’t loaded at all until you opt in. IP addresses aren’t stored, and advertising features, Google Signals and ad personalisation are all switched off.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart with a random identifier. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit for page-view and engagement reports. | 2 years |
If you later withdraw consent, analytics stop straight away and these cookies are deleted from your browser.
06Changing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent whenever you like, here or with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics doesn’t change how the site works for you.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, member sign-in won’t work.
07Records of your choice
Each time you save a choice we keep an anonymous record of it: a random identifier from the consent cookie, what you chose, the policy version and the time. That lets us show we asked before setting anything optional, as the UK GDPR requires. It doesn’t include your IP address or anything else that identifies you. See the privacy policy for more.
08Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie or change what one is for, we’ll update this page and the cookie prompt will ask you again. Choices made under an older version are no longer used.
